Our original CUFA Thursday keynote, Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez, has announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate, running against seated Senator John Cornyn, and will no longer be able to appear at CUFA. Our new closing keynote panel will consist of three vibrant individuals who will speak to the theme of Intersectionality and Latinx Advocacy and Activism : State Representatives Mary González (El Paso) and Celia Israel (Austin) and Executive Interim Director of Jolt , Antonio Arellano.
