The call for proposal submissions for CUFA 2019 in Austin, Texas was released on Tuesday, January 8th and can be found in its entirety here as well as on the official conference website. Submissions are due on Friday, March 8th at 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time at cufa2019.socialstudies.org. The Graduate Forum and Research-into-Practice sessions will take place on Friday, 11/22. Our original CUFA Thursday keynote, Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez, has announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate, running against seated Senator John Cornyn, and will no longer be able to appear at CUFA. Our new closing keynote panel will consist of three vibrant individuals who will speak to the theme of Intersectionality and Latinx Advocacy and Activism : State Representatives Mary González (El Paso) and Celia Israel (Austin) and Executive Interim Director of Jolt , Antonio Arellano.
